Removing pet hair from carpets and furniture

To help get rid of pet hair on carpets and furniture, put 1/2 a cup of liquid fabric softener in a spray bottle along with 2 cups of water. Spray this on the area of carpet or furniture to be cleaned and let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes. Vacuum the area and you'll find that the vacuum has a much easier time lifting off the pet hair.
