If you are looking for an alternative to Photoshop, Fauxto offers an interesting alternative. They offer full image editing software for free, and it's available as a web application. The whole thing is done in Flash and it is *very* Photoshop-like. It's a nice alternative to loading photo editing software on your desktop since these programs tend to be very large. Fauxto is very nicely done, it looks and feels like a desktop application, and it offers most of the functionality that you'd expect from a high-end image editing program.
