Getting the vibrate then ring option on the Motorola Razr
For some unknown reason, the folks at Motorola left off the "vibrate then ring" option on the Razr even though they have it on lots of their other models. Really dumb, but also fixable. To get the "vibrate then ring" option on your Razr you need to do something called "seem editing". This is basically a way of hacking the memory in your phone to enable/disable features. Turns out the "vibrate then ring" option lives on the Razr, it's just not enabled by default.
For a discussion on how to perform seem editing on your Razr, check out this site: http://motov3m.com/tiki-index.php?page=SEEM. It's a bit of a hassle since you need to download several programs, but they give all the links and the instruction so if you follow it through, you can get it to work.
They also list the bits that you need to flip/set on your Razr to enable "vibrate then ring". To enable it, set bit 3 to be unchecked and bit 4 to be checked.
