Require a password to unlock your Palm Pre

To secure your Palm Pre, you can configure it so that it requires a password to unlock after the screen turns off.

To configure this, launch Screen & Unlock from the launcher and go to the Secure Lock section. Tap either the Simple PIN or Password. If you select the Simple PIN option, you then need to enter a 4-digit code. If you select the Password option, you can enter an alphanumeric password. Either way, after you enter it you need to enter it again to confirm it.

If you later decide you want to turn off the password, go back to the Secure Lock section of Screen & Lock and tap Off. You have to enter your PIN or password to confirm that you are turning this off.
