Internet is a great thing that we through it share our data and information with people all around the world. It shortens the distance between people, making communication easier. But meanwhile, hackers and unfriendly people may take this advantage to steal files from our computers, and computer virus spread from one computer to another everyday. Therefore, we need to pay more attention on keeping our computer data safe and confidential. And maybe you need a powerful encryption software to be your honest helper.

* Steps you need to follow in order to protect your data private and safe
Encryption Shield is a professional, easy-to-use, and powerful security software, which helps you protect your computer in a more efficient way. Following we will show you how to make this powerful guard serve you and we will also highlight the unique functions it has.
Step1: Encrypt files: Choose file you want to encrypt, then press the encrypt object
button on the upper left and a popup will appear, then input password.
Decrypt files: Similar to encrypting, select an encrypted file, and click decrypt object button on the upper panel, then input the same password as before, so you finish.
Note:
* You can specify a file as password.
* You can select an authorized disk during encryption. In this way, even if others get your passwords, without the authorized disk they are unable to decrypt your files. Moreover, an authorized disk can free you from memorizing the passwords.

Step2: Encrypt folders: encryption shield allows you to password-protect your folder.
Click “protect folder” beside the “exit program”, then a further option window will popup. Select folder you want to protect at the bottom then choose “password-protect a folder”, then set password.
Note: Only by inputting the correct password can you open it and it is still in encrypted state after you closing the folder. There is no need to encrypt it again with Encryption Shield.

Step3: If you want to lock a folder, choose “lock a folder” in “protect folder” option window. Once locked, the folder can’t be deleted, renamed or copied. You are unable to visit any file in it, neither.

Step4: Also in “ protect folder” option window, choose “disguise a folder” so that you can disguise a folder as recycle bin, printer, control panel, neighborhood or common file. Furthermore, when you enter it, no real contents are visible.
