Step 1

First you need to decide whether you are ready for this contest as this contest is global program and you need to dedicate your time and patience to create something innovative.

Step 2

Decide the area where you think you can do your best and develop your application.

Step 3

Visit the http://www.callingallinnovators.com website for all the required information related to the contest. Read the rules and regulations of the contest properly to ensure that your submission does not get rejected at the last moment.

Step 4

As a participant, a developer must be 18 or older as of December 30, 2008. So, keep a copy of your age proof ready.

Step 5

The contest is open to legal residents of all countries. Thus, if required you would need to show proof of your identity.

Step 6

A developer can go for one submission per category. Any entries exceeding this limit will be ineligible and will not be considered.

Step 8

Once the registration gets completed, users will be directed to the contest upload page where they will have to select the category for which they want to submit their application. The categories are: Internet innovation, Flash, and Emerging Markets and Mobile Necessities.

Step 10

Once the category has been selected, a user can upload his/her application; submit it in an open text field, upload a video or whitepaper explaining the purpose of the application.

Step 11

For a qualified entry, you must submit a digital copy of the application in usable form or a working URL to the mobile site. The executable file and any additional files required for installation or use should also be included.

Step 12

The description submitted must be 100 words or less. The optional supporting documentation must be in .doc, .pdf. .xls, .ppt, .rtf, or .txt format and the optional videos must be 2 minutes or less and no larger than 3 megabytes.

Step 13

If submitted at www.callingallinnovators.com, all entry materials must be in the English language to qualify. If submitted at www.callingallinnovators.cn , all entry materials must be either in the English or Chinese language to qualify.

Step 14

All submissions for the contest will be accepted until 30 June 2009.

Step 15

The finalists of Calling All Innovators will be announced on 17 August 2009.
