If you are using Windows Vista, and you use Trillian as your instant messaging client, and you use Firefox as your browse, you've probably noticed that when you open a link in Trillian, it always opens in Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. Even if you have Firefox set as your default browser. Very annoying. If you want links in Trillian to open in Firefox, open the Trillian preferences and select the "Text Conversations" section of the preferences. In this section, there is a checkbox labeled "Open links in a new browser window". If you uncheck this checkbox, Trillian will start opening links in the default browser instead of Internet Explorer. Not sure why, but it works.
