Showing links in Safari on the iPhone
The version of Safari that runs on the iPhone does not have a location bar which allows you to see the URL of a link before you click on it. But you can still see the address of the URL of a link on the iPhone. To see it, put your finger on the link and instead of tapping like you normally would, just leave your finger there. After a second or two, Safari will show a balloon containing the URL of the link. If you then want to go to the location of the link, lift up your finger while the balloon is still showing the URL. If you do not want to go the location of the link, slide your finger off the link. The balloon containing the URL will go away, and you will remain on the current page.
